Duty Log

Pilots required to log their duty information per FAA 135 requirements can log their duty via the Schedaero web application as well as the Schedaero Crew Application.

In the Schedaero web application, the chief pilot or the specific pilot can see all information entered per month. Once that month is completed, and it is reviewed by the appropriate person, the status of the log can be completed.

Month: Able to filter and select the desired month to perform the Duty Logging.

Time Zone: The time zone option, will allow the user to log their specific duty on a specific time zone. *Administrator should make sure that the pilot has the correct time zone in his user settings, as well as the schedaero crew application.

Status: Once the month has been completed, and it's verified by the appropriate person, selecting this checkbox will complete the calendar month duty log.

Download Log: Selecting this option, the user will be able to get a report of the specific month. This report will include:

- Date

- Legs

- Aircraft

- Duty Type

- Duty Start / End

- Duty Total

- Part 91 or 135 flying

- Take-Offs, Landing, and Instrument approach.

Date: The selected date to log the duty.

Duty Type: Schedaero will allow the user to create duty custom events. This can be done under “Select New Activity” or under the Company > settings > General tab.

Adding New Activity:

Long Name: The duty activity name

Short Name: 4 Characters that will describe the activity.

Legal Rest Day (24 hrs.): Selecting this checkbox will make this activity a legal rest day.

Rest Day: If the Legal rest day checkbox was selected for the desired activity, it will show “yes” under Rest Day.

On Duty: Input the time (according to the Time Zone settings) that the crew member started their duty.

Off Duty: Input the time (according to the Time Zone settings) that the crew member finished their duty.

Total Duty: Total duration of duty.

Total Flying: If the pilot had any flying that day, and he performed the flight logging, those times will show. Departure and Arrival airport codes will also show. A green check mark will be shown if the flight log was completed successfully

Notes Tab: Selecting this option, the user will be able to add any specific note regarding that duty day period. This can be logged via the app and it will show in the Web application.
